John Mayer - Slow Dancing in a Burning Room
Have you ever gone down a path that you know is inevitably not going to end well? Have you ever known you should leave (a relationship, a job, etc) but stayed just a little longer than you should’ve? I love Mayer’s metaphor of slow dancing in the burning inevitable. I think it is a beautiful one. Ironic since he ‘hates metaphors’ right?
